Chris graduated from the University of Glasgow and gained broad clinical experience working in Dundee, Ayrshire and Glasgow’s West End before becoming a Partner at Mearns Dental in 2024.
Chris has a strong interest in orthodontics and minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry. He completed the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (RCS England) following graduation and has since undertaken extensive postgraduate training in cosmetic dentistry, composite bonding and orthodontics.
Most notably, he completed a comprehensive 18-month advanced orthodontic training programme, equipping him to provide both clear aligner therapy (including Invisalign) and fixed orthodontic treatment within the practice.
Chris particularly enjoys planning orthodontic cases that enhance both smile aesthetics and long-term function. His approach is detail-driven and patient-centred, ensuring every individual feels informed, comfortable and involved throughout their treatment journey.
Outside dentistry, Chris enjoys long-distance cycling, spending time with friends and family, and following Formula 1
